Peg Wuelfing received her B.A. in religious studies from the Pontifical
College Josephinum in Columbus OH; her M.A. in religious studies from
the University of Dayton, and her Ph. D. in educational leadership from
the University of Dayton School of Education and Allied Professions. Her
research focused on interdisciplinary curriculum and professional
development in Catholic schools.
Peg currently serves as founder and director for MCE, Mission Centered
Education, LLC, through which she helps churches, schools, and service
organizations articulate and integrate their mission into their
day-to-day operations. She has taught young people and adults in church,
school, diocesan, and seminary settings for over twenty-five years in
Ohio and Idaho. She continues to facilitate retreats and to present at
regional and national conferences on a variety of topics related to
religious education, prayer and spirituality. A spiritual companion for
many years, Peg is currently completing her Certificate in Christian
Formation & Spiritual Direction through CFDM and is excited to be
bringing this opportunity to others.
She and
her husband, Ed, worship at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Idaho City,
where she serves as a catechist. A grandmother, quilter, gardener,
teacher and weekend chef, Peg is convinced that what she does best is
pray.

Training programs
CFDM and MCE together are offering a
Certificate Program in Christian Formation and Spiritual Direction
in Boise, Idaho, beginning in late January 2009. For current
information regarding dates, fees, and application process, contact the
Regional Director.
Spiritual Direction
The Idaho Regional Network of CFDM is composed of men and women
who want to be part of the Network and who are already Directors or are
in training to be Directors.
Centered in Boise, Idaho, the Idaho Regional Network of CFDM has
links and contacts with other Regional Networks of CFDM in the western
United States. The Network is working with graduates of the Certificate
Program in Christian Formation & Spiritual Direction offered by CFDM, as
well as graduates of other training programs, to provide ongoing
supervision, evaluation, referral, and continuing partnership for
spiritual directors.
For information regarding training, joining the network, or
referral to a qualified Director, contact the Regional Director.
Local Events
Various events are planned and resources made available by the
Network in response to requests and needs in the region. For additional
information regarding Quiet Days, Spiritual Formation Events, and
weekend retreats, contact the Regional Director.
Retreat Centers
CFDM is committed to locating, networking, and establishing
retreat centers and locations in this region (homes, cabins, established
retreat centers) where people can go for rest, solitude, prayer,
self-guided retreats, and Christ-centered spiritual direction. For
current listings contact the Regional Director.
